Newton Marsh Extension Windfarm

The proposed Newton Marsh Extension Windfarm is to be located on privately owned farmland approximately 2.2km South East of Humberston. The site is next to Anglian Water’s Newton Marsh sewage treatment works where we are currently developing turbines at the facility under a separate 2009 planning consent. A planning application for 8 wind turbines with a maximum blade tip height of 115m has been submitted to East Lindsey District Council. Consultation events for the proposal have been held in the local area and there is now an opportunity for people to provide their views to East Lindsey District Council.

Generation of up to 57.4 GWh of renewable electricity/year

Providing enough energy to power up to 11,771 homes

Displacement of up to 24,700 tonnes CO2 emissions/year
